What Causes Pulsating Sensation At The Bottom Of Neck?
I have had fluttering/pulsating sensations at the bottom of my neck for several days on and off. It is right near my collarbone and on my leftside. Should i be concerned? I do recall having caffeine today, which isnt a norm for me. Not sure to get it checked out.

Hello, welcome to HCM. You are feeling the pulsation of a neck vein called external jugular vein. When you are tensed /intake of substances which disturbs the heart pumping action ,then the pressure slightly raises and it come backs to normal.The pressure is increased whenthere is right atrium(chamber of heart) problem. if really there is heart function defect then pulsation continues. So kindly go to cardiologist and show it.Get the ECG also which tells you whether there is problem . Take care
