What Causes Protrusion In Ribs And Pain While Breathing Or Coughing?

Some of my left ribs stick out more then the rest and it hurts when I breath and cough. I haven t had an accident yet so it s really hard to tell. I m only 12. My parents say it s the way I sit. But they thought I had headaches from my phone when I had a problem. I don t know what to believe.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

If you have fever then you need a routine test and other examinations along with an ortho opinion. With a chest X-ray these things can be ruled out. You continue physiotherapist appointments from a recognized place or join srisri yoga program.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
