What Causes Protruding Vein In Forehead After Head Injury?

my 3 year old grandbaby ran into table 2 weeks ago. had goose egg lump on her forehead. lump was gone in a day or two. 2 weeks later I can feel a vein where the injury occurred. can also see it on her forehead when looking at it. she has been acting perfectly normal the whole time. I can just see this vein kind of sticking out when it was not there before. anything to worry about?

Hi..... You need not worry about the prominent vein.
It would have been an underlying Hematoma which has made the vein more visible and prominent. If the kid is not having incessant vomiting or abnormal behaviour or loss of consciousness or seizures or watering from nose and ears are bleeding from nose and ears then you need not worry about the head injury.
