What Causes Prominent Veins On Left Side Of Chest?
I am 41 year old black female. 5 4 300lbs. Veins are very prominent on the left side of my chest and have been for several years. What could cause this? I had asked my nephrologist about it and he said it wasn t an issue. I had a doppler done with cardiologist and findings were normal.

these are intercostal veins or trribuateies of IvC or azygous hemiazyous venous system on left side of chest, due to there is no abnormality on Doppler and asymptotic , no need to worry,
it may happen sometime in some patient due to engorged blood vessel
