What Causes Prominent Veins And A Bruise On The Hand?

i have been getting the purple veins poping and hurting like bee stings today first time i have gotten a real big one on top of my hand and it looked like a big black and blue brise and feel like bee sting but it was really big like sew of the veins were effected it didnt last long with the popping veins they seemed like flaten out but i still have the big purple bruise on top of my hand should i worry thank u 4 any advice u can give me

hello dear,
normally the vein of hand on dorsal aspect is prominent due to gravitational stasis of venous blood if it is hugely dilated torturous, causing discomfort, any skin changes and pain than you should consult your family doctor to find out the cause for your dilated vein .
abnormally dilated vein develop due to obstruction at proximal part of vein so venous drainage of that area is hampered and most distal subcutaneous vein become dilated with stasis of blood
obstruction can be due to external compression of the vein , thrombus in vein and any anatomical abnormally
