There might be piece of metal foreign body that is lying below skin and leading to inflammation and sensitivity to touch. This can be diagnosed with simple Xray of knee anteroposterior and lateral views which shows radiopaque foreign body. If foreign body is seen on Xray it can be removed by surgery.
