What Causes Prolonged Pain In Wrist And Fingers Post Treatment For Staph Infection?

I was diagnosed with staph infection in my elbow/bursa about 2 1/2 months ago I was on two different antibiotics. They finally went in and cleaned it out. My elbow looks ok but still painful all the way into my wrist and index and middle finger. It s warm to the touch, keeps me awake at night. I m sure I still have inflammation,I ve been off of antibiotics about 3 weeks. I thought each day I should be feeling better. Doesn t seem to improve. The surgery sight looks great just not inside.
