im a 45 year old healthy woman past a 45-49 year old health test last week little overwieght 74 kg @165 cm tall,recently started daily exersise approx an hour walking on treadmill 4-6 kpm nothing to hard and have given up smoking 2 1/2 months after 30 years .Now my problem is i have had my menstrual (period,quite heavy for me) for 11 days now should i be concerned.
Hello, You are probably nearing menopause and at that time the periods get very irregular. The prolonged bleeding however could cause anemia so you probably need to see your doctor for a blood test. They have medications to stop the bleeding if needed. Since you have been bleeding heavily for 11 days I would try to see a doctor in the next day or two for an exam and some blood tests Regards
