General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As a general principle, the Human Papillomavirus does not alter the menses cycle unless there is associated issue with a pelvic inflammatory disease or other hormone imbalance.

In a person with the intake of birth pills, it is very likely to be due to a missed dose or altered time period of taking pills and responsible for fluctuating menses cycles.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
