What Causes Progressive Diplopia While On Lamictal And Klonopin?

Hello- thank you for your assistance. I am diagnosed with bipolar, anxiety/depression. I am taking Cymbalta 30 mg q.d; lamictal XR 100 mg q.d; Deplin and klonopin 0.5 mg q.d. I am experiencing progressive diplopia. Recently saw eye doctor, stated not due to muscle weakness- speculates due to medication. Trying to figure out which of these medications would cause diplopia. I am getting to the point where I am unable to drive safetly- age 53. Thanks again for any input. Katherine

Ok, first establish if you still have the diplopia if one eye is closed. That would be blurring due to the medication. If it is only noticed when both eyes are open, then it is not clear how that fits with the medications. This wuld be a reason to get a more thorough exam possibly with a head scan. Lamictal is perhaps more likley to have effects on nerves involved iwth eye morement BUT the change in movement should be easily observable by a doctor and it seems this was not seen.
