What Causes Primary Progressive Aphasia?

Dr. Rynne - My sister was diagnosed about 14 months ago with Primary Progressive Aphasia at age 62. As the months have passed our family clearly sees her decline. Her overall health is good. It is difficult for our family, we are grateful that my sister probably isn t aware of what is happening to her. I am very close with her, maybe because we are only 2 years apart in age. I know and have accepted what is happening to her and I visit her often at the assisted living facility where she lives. She knows her family when we visit. How can I/we help make her days good ones and making her feel that her life has meaning and that she s important? Thanks for listening!
