What Causes Pricking Sensation In Upper Abdomen With Mild Swelling?

I have pins and needles in my upper left abdomen along with swelling and some pinching but not much pain. I have had ulcers but this is a completely different sensation and location. My stomach feels distended also and the twinges travel although the main location is very specific and has an oval shape to swelling. Any ideas? Worse when sitting or lying on left side.

Hello,

Swelling and paresthesia (pins & needles) is due to a lesion in abdominal parities /wall most likely neurofibroma. You need clinical examination. USG (Ultrasonography )Abdomen can be undertaken.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
