What Causes Pressure In The Chest And Breathlessness?

I went to ER with shortness of breath,elephant on my chest and neck and jaw numb&had bad swelling for weeks prior.My gp ordered ultrasound of legs&echo 4days prior to er visit¬hing.hospital found multiple bilateral pulmonary emboli.I quit cigs a year ago and had started using good quality marijuana for pain(am50yr old female,obese(slim 15yrs ago,until fibromyalgia and arthritis took me down)I hadn t used pot I 2weeks prior to finding emboli.can I ever use again?what about with a vaporizer?has to be better than all the narcotics I have to take that don t work hAlf as well.I don t want to kill myself by using it.will it cause issues?

pulmonary embolism Is a life threatening disease
you have to take anticoagulants for a pretty long time to treat it

smoking increases the chances of embolism and increases the mortality

so first and formost step is quit smoking now ( applies to any type of smoking)

be in regular follow up with your physician and take medications as prescribed
