What Causes Pressure In The Abdomen?

I sometimes have a feeling of there not being enough room for my organs, or feeling of all being pushed together in my abdomen below my left rib cage. I have also had a protrusion on several occasions during this pain. It is about the size of a knuckle and sticks out. Could this be a hiatal hernia? Thank you for replying.
