What Causes Pressure In Neck When Diagnosed With Vertigo?

I m 59 and I m very active. I and a fitness instructor. I have been having a problem with Vertigo since January 2015 and also pressure on both sides of my neck like its being sqeezed. It makes my ears feel pressure and my eyes. I also have a multi-nodular Goider but it has been checked. I ve been on Thyroid Meds for about 15 yrs. I recently was started on low does blood pressure meds. Could this pressure in my neck be from my ear? (Dr checked my ears and said there was no wax or fluid in them) or could it be something more serious?
