What Causes Pressure In Head With Teeth Pain After Taking Overdose?

I have had a chest/head cold for a week and was handling it okay with over the counter cough syrup and sinus decongestion. Yesterday I discovered I was using the wrong cough syrup, which contained the exact same ingredients as my sinus medication. IN short, I was over dosing on Tylenol and decongestions. The poison control people said I would be okay because I had only done it for three days, but not to take anymore meds. This morning I woke to find the pressure in my head and teeth incredibly painful. My teeth feel numb when I brush them and hurt when I eat. Should I seek help at the hospital ER tonight, or tough it out until tomorrow morning when I can call my doctor?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If the pain is very severe, then it would be best to see a doctor for assistance as soon as possible.

The withdrawal of these medications should not normally cause these symptoms.

You may want to try a pain killer from a different family eg ibuprofen or naproxen

I hope this helps
