What Causes Pressure In Ear And Facial Numbness?

I have numbness, tingling and swelling on the left side of my face and a lot of pressure in my left ear which is also swollen and feels like an ear infection. My left lymph node is also swollen and my lips are sensitive to the touch. Is this all symptoms of an ear infection?

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms are suggestive of an inner ear infection, coupled with a sinus infection. For this reason, I recommend consulting with your attending physician or an ENT specialist as soon as possible for a physical exam and some tests (complete blood count, PCR, ESR, sinus X-ray study).

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
