What Causes Pressure In Ear And Behind An Eye?

Hello i have been having pressure behind my right eye , also Feeling as if dirt were in that same eye . i also have been having alot of pressure in my Right ear . This all happened shortly after having A sore throat in January . this have been going on for 9 months now . what could it be?

Hi,thank you for posting your query on health care magic.

Looking at your symptoms,you might be suffering from inflammation in the sinuses leading to pressure behind the eyes and Eustachian tube blockage leading to pressure in the ears.It would have started with the inflammation in the throat.

You may find relief by taking following medications:
Analgesic with Antiinflammatory like Ibuprofen,Antacid like Rantac,Antihistaminic like Cetrizine,Mucolytic like Ambroxol,Oral Decongestant like Phenylephrine with Nasal Decongestant drops like Xylometazoline(Take decongestant only if you are not suffering from hypertension).

Also do steam inhalation.Drink pleny of warm fluids.Avoid cold food and dust.
