I thought I had a uti. Called my gyn doc. She gave me cipro. Urine test was negative but I m still having symptoms. Pressure but no burning and frequency. No burning when I void. If I take peridium it seems to help relieve pressure somewhat. My gynecologist does not think I have an irritable bladder because I put out volume when I void. This has happened multiple times before but symptoms usually get better before two weeks. This is very frustrating. My gynecologist wants me to have a pelvic ultrasound. She doesn t think I need to see a urologist. I had seen a urologist two years ago for blood and high white count. Cat scan and cystoscope were negative. Any suggestions.
