Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
In 2001 I had 2 aneurysms in my left carotid artery. The aneurysms were removed and I followed up with my doctor for several years until he told me I didn t have to come back for 2 years. I haven t been back because he moved to another state. Lately I ve had pressure at times behind my ear on that side but it s not in my eardrum area but up higher. I ve also had sudden shooting pains in my head that only last a few seconds. Could this be something related to my carotid artery?
