What Causes Pressure Behind Eyes?

Age 18, f I have been experiencing pressure behind the eye to my brow and temples on only the right side of my head it had started around 1 weeks ago with a sharp pain through the back of my eye to the front so I started to put eye drops in because I thought at the time it was just dry eye. I have been taking pain killers and allergy and sinus medicine, and that had not work.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to sinusitis. Frontal or sphenoidal sinusitis gives such kind of pain. ENT examination should be carried out to rule out that. Nasal decongestants , NSAIDs and vitamin c will help in such case. Antibiotics might be needed also. If there is no improvement then para nasal sinus X ray should be done to rule out any complications or need for a drainage. Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further queries.
Thanks
