What Causes Pounding In The Heart With Chest Pain?

Im 32 years old, I ve noticed latley sometimes shortly after eating, my heart feels likes its pounding out of my chest. Also if im walking my heart rate goes up with it and I get chest pain to the point where I have to stop and sit for awhile for it to stop. This happens mainly after I eat Chinese food I ve noticed. I do have acid reflux, but it is already well controlled with prilosec. Thanks

hi
more than cardiac problems seems like you have more of gastroesophageal reflux disease(gerd)
the pounding sensation can be due to esophageal induced coronary vasospasm.
as chinese foods have more of agginomoto(chinese salt), you can have more of gastritis with that food
.i suggest you to meet a cardiologist (for cardiac evaluation) as well as the gastro-enterologist for an upper gastro-intestinal endoscopy to rule out for the exact problems
take care
