What Causes Popping Of Lips, Rubbing Nose Frequently And Wiggling Tongue?

My mother has come to visit and she has been popping her lips, twitching, wiggling her tongue back and forth. She is also rubbing her nose a lot and talking a lot. Moms, 66 and not on cocaine. I have had friends that did cocaine and had the same types of movements. Any ideas? ( mom said her thyroid is the issue?)

I believe that allergies or diabetes should be taken in consideration too. Do her a total blood count with formula and glucose levels with HbA1c.
