Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I saw my eye Dr. today and was unable to get 20/20 vision with correction. He did a couple of other tests and was concerned about the hydration of my cornea so I am to use ointment in my eyes at bedtime foe two weeks and repeat test. I have had fatigue foe several years that seems to be worsening. Would you suggest an endrocrinologist? My physician recently retired but was very good and checked my thyroid and did the obvious blood work. I have a daughter with a connective tissue disorder...Ehlers Danlos. I have B12 and D deficiency which I am being treated for.
Endocrine problems are unlikely. Corneal problems like keratoconus and amblyopia must be ruled out. Consult an ophthalmologist and he will direct you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
