What Causes Poor Lactation After Taking Regestrone To Avoid Vaginal Bleeding?
I had an iud insertion done after 2mnths of my 2nd delivery.I m experiencing light to moderate bleeding since then. I have consulted Dr and prescribed for registrone 5mg.after consumin g 1wk, my bleeding almost stopped but my milk production reduced tremendously..so I stopped taking the tablet. My bleeding started again after I stopped registrone.now I started back and still having bleeding.is it normal? How long should I continue the tablet? What should I do if the bleeding never stops after completion of the dosage? Is it normal to have reduction in breast milk when consumes registrone?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, most of the time irregular menses is due to hormone changes in your case it may not be due to IUD if the hormone changes is there then it needs to be managed with oral hormone that is the option else it can be corrected on its own Hope this information helps.
