What Causes Poor Blood Circulation In The Hands?

Hi, i donated blood last December, and now i have decreased circulation and my hands have started turning purple when i sleep. Could this be from holding my phone above my head to watch videos before sleeping? Are there any foods i should consume more of to increase circulation? i have a full time job in construction, so i get plenty of exercise. i like to eat yogurt, kombucha, and cereal, and probably too many breakfast burritos.

Hi,

Color change in hand could be from some from of vascular deficiency or peripheral vascular disease like problem. It cannot be because of blood donation or by holding phone overhead. Color Doppler ultrasound can be beneficial to do further work up. Avocado, orange, salmon, garlic, dark chocolate, etc., can be beneficial to improve circulation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
