What Causes Poly Sinusitis In Child?
MY 10 YEAR NIECE IS DIAGNOSED WITH POLY SINUSITIS . WHAT COULD HAVE MADE THIS POSSIBLE? SHE WAS ALSO DIAGNOSED TO HAVE TRANSIENT ENCEPHALOPATHY ( SECONDARY TO SYSTEMIC VIRAL ILLNESS. DO THESE TWO COME TOGETHER/ WHAT MEDICATION CAN SHE HAVE/ VIRAL ILLNESS - WHAT CAN OTHER MEMBERS OF THE HOUSEHOLD DO TO AVOID BEING INFECTED? CAN SHE ATTEND SCHOOL?

hello, thanks for your query, poly sinusitis is a bacterial infection secondary to tonsillitis or adenoiditis or some untreated ent infection like common cold, viral infections r treated with tab. paracetamol, related to encephalopathy u need ct scan brain, lumber puncture which gives d way for secial treatment. u need to observe d chaild, u can skip d school for few days. hope I hav answered ur query. alld best. take care.
