Hello, Thank you for trusting HealthcareMagic for your health concern
Low dose aspirin (loprin) improves blood supply through the placenta and to the fetus. Mild spotting during first trimester is common and usually nothing to be worried out. Aspirin itself can contribute to the spotting . Spotting is common during first trimester if you recently had intercourse or did strenuous activities, coughing etc. You can follow up with your gynecologist to undergo pelvic Ultra sound and blood beta HCG level to ensure that pregnancy is viable. Meanwhile, take adequate rest.
