General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Pink spotting and red clots discharge are signs of incoming periods. Actually, monthly periods would change and no one can predict them.
As you are on the pill, you are supposed not to have a period. But sometimes, due to hormonal changes might have pink discharge only.

Wait for a few more days. And observe the next monthly periods. If they'll be the same, should see your gynecologist for further tests and treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
