What Causes Pin Prick Pain In The Chest?
Hi, my boyfriend is having pinprick pain on the left chest. They usually last about fifteen seconds or so, but this one is lasting about 2 minutes. It s uncomfortable, but not associated with feeling pressure or tightness. He describes it as sometimes feeling like it s fluttering. He s in good health, and saw his physician last year with no issues. He s 39 years old, 6 foot and fit.

-Auscultation
-Blood pressure measurement
-EKG
-Echo only if needed
-if needed Holter monitoring
If no cardiac causes detected than it could be simple muscular pain by abnormal sleep posture or by strenuous work...
If by above investigations specific cause identified than treated accordingly...
