Tummy tuck was done in 11 Aug 2010 hence a long ago indicating that the lumps for the past week may be unrelated to the surgery done so long ago. IF you could remove the pus form one of the lumps means this is an abscess and needs the following: Get a clinical evaluation done by a Surgeon so that a proper diagnosis can be done. Send the pus for gram staining, culture and sensitivity as it helps in near future if antibiotics are required or not and which one would be the bet to cure the infection. If the lump is large and still has pus inside you may need formal incision and drainage surgery for curative and early treatment. Apply liquid Povidone Iodine locally to the skin on and around the affected area so that the skin is kept sterile and thus avoids secondary infection. Get a course of an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medications.
