For several months I have green phelgm build up in my throat whilst sleeping and have to clear i twhen I wake up in the morning. I get regular tickly throat and cough during day at random times and sometimes find my speach is impaired until I clear my throat. I am told I snore so thought this was cause, but as has been going on for so long have started to worry about it more. I stopped smoking 15 years ago. I do probably drink more wine than I should prob 3/4 to one a bottle per day.

Green phlegm mostly is a sign of infection for which u should take tab azee 250 mg BD for 3 days at least. Also you will need a C T scan of the sinuses and clinical examination for snoring followed by sleep study and/or radiofreuency/ laser treatment for snoring
