What Causes Persistent Vaginal Bleeding Despite Taking Doxycycline?

Hello! I am now on my 11th day of taking doxycycline with food twice a day. The result of my three basic tests is negative. Until now I still have discharge every morning. I am worrying a lot with this. Anyone can help or give an advice with my problem? Thank you!

Hello mam,
I did review your concern.
Please let us know why did you take doxycycline for vaginal bleeding.
Doxycycline is generally indicated for foul smelling vaginal discharge with infection with chlamydia infection. If you are not getting relief from doxycycline for that i would recommend you to consult your doctor and change your medication to erythromycin or azithromycin with ceftriaxone for 7 days.
If you are experiencing bright red bleeding I would recommend you to consult your doctor and get a Beta HCG test along with further ultrasound and if possible hormonal methods to stop bleeding.
I hope this helps
wish you all the best
