Hi I had sore throat and ear ache b4 thanksgiving went to dr and he gave me a z pack. Felt better than last week started hurting again this time hurts when I swallow and yawn, ear just a little. Dr renewed z pack. Finished yesterday And still not feeling well. What do u think throat is

this is due to viral pharyngitis. ear ache is referred pain from pharynx. I would recommend you to take palliative treatment only in form of antiallergic, antihistaminic, antipyretic. avoid using any antibiotics. take hot bath, steam inhalation. avoid cold drinks. it will take around 7-10 days to get cured.
