What Causes Persistent Shortness Of Breath?

i have had shortness of breath for 3 days went to my dr. see nurse practitioner they gave me an ekg and it was abnormal she said she asked a dr. he told her it looked like a heart attack . my question is she schedualed a stress echo cardio gram ,said they would call me to set it up in a few days. if i had a heart attack sat. should they treat it or wait for a test in a few days?

all require investigation like ecg and echocardiogram may be done and consult cardiologist. further investigation and clinical examination by cardiologist may be done.
