What Causes Persistent Redness Of Skin On Legs, Palms And Arms?

I have persistent redness . . .sometimes my ears, often my legs (like I have sunburn, but I have not been in the sun). Some times the palms of my hands are beet red and feel hot. My arms also have had times of bright redness. I m curious what this might be.

My Dear

Welcome to this site!

I have assessed your description and think that problem is due to urticaria.

Most patients with description like yours do very well by starting anti allergic medication. Initially you might like to try 5 mg of Levocetirizine a day and later on increase it to 10 mg if needed.
Once it is controlled, the disease might reappear with lesser intensity for some more days and to control that phase you may feel like having same medication on SOS basis and that really helps. in the meantime try to find the correlation between the rash and your activities including foods ingested. If you are able to pinpoint the cause, then avoidance of that substance or activity should be your first line of action.

Generally, majority patients recover with this plan of action
Best wishes.
