What Causes Persistent Rashes While On Medication For Gout?

Hi Im am trying to cfigure out if this is an allergic reaction to indomethcian or a differant med that my boyfriend is taking. He brtoke out with a rash after having a attack of gout , he took this med for about a week to get rid of the attack. that is the only thing that had changed in his med s. now i have been giving him benedryl and putting cortizone cream on it. thew rash is going away and seems to be getting better but he also has problems urinating so my question to you is it likley that the med caused this andhe is still trying to getthe med our of his systom amd he also stopped the med .?

Might be due to allergic reaction to gout med.
As a first line management you can take antihistamines like pheneramine for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist you can consult your rheumatologist and ask for alternatives.
