What Causes Persistent Pressure On The Tonsils?

Hi, I have this constant pressure on my tonsils. They do not hurt, have anything on them, are a little red, but it just feels like my throat has gotten thinner. It is on my right tonsil now, and it just feels enlarged, but it really doesn t look like it is too much. It feels like a lump is in my throat.
