What Causes Persistent Pain In The Lower Abdomen?
I started having a pain/ache in my lower abdomen to the left and slightly lower than my belly button last night. Woke up this morning with it still there and has been all day. Worse when I bend down or lean forward to stand. I now have a pain/ache in my left middle back just under my ribs.

I really appreciate your concern, it could be due infection and stone could be the cause, right now pain killer can be taken Tab Dicyclomine is preferable, but later on investigation is must, you have not mentioned your age and gender because if female it could be different reasons even in male too and highly related with age too hope this information helps.
