What Causes Persistent Pain In The Hips While Walking And Bending?

Hi, Can you answer a question for me? I have been having pain in my hips..bilaterally, and restless leg syndrome for the last 2 nights. The pain is on the outside of my hips, and achy when i am walking, laying, and bending. Have any idea what this may be? I also am wondering if Physical Therapy will hurt this more? or do any good for it?
