Hello,

Pain in the buttocks means we have to look deep whether it is muscular pain or skeletal pain or neuronal pain or vascular pain.

Possible causes are
1. Nerve root compression.
2. Muscular dystrophy or myositis.
3. Sciatica.
4. Arthritis of joint.
5. Ankylosing spondylosis.
6. Bone tuberculosis or infection.
7. Thromboangitis obliterans with claudication etc.

Please consult your physician/orthopedician they will do X-ray of pelvis/lumbar spine, color Doppler, nerve conduction study or MRI of joint then get treated accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
