What Causes Persistent Pain In Biceps Radiating To The Wrists?

I have been having pain in my left arm for three days. Mostly in the bicep but moves around too like to the wrist. Asprin kind of helps, Tylenol, nothing. Should I be worried about my heart? Not in good shape, pain came on suddenly, ONLY in left arm. NO trama or strain.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have persistent pain in biceps radiating to the wrists. Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to certain reasons like cervical spondylosis , nerve compression , carpal tunnel syndrome , muscle sprain or tendinitis . I would suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination . Doctor may order certain test like CT scan ,MRI along with physical examination . Doctor may also refer you to cardiologist for heart problem like angina . Doctor may prescribe isosorbide nitrate , aspirin , beta blockers along with frusamide . For now stay calm , take proper rest and keep taking aspirin.
