What Causes Persistent Pain And Dryness Of The Throat?
My throat has felt very dry the last couple of days and now it hurts. I looked at it with a flash light and in the back is a small black speck. On the side where it hurts is more towards the front but has a white speck. Any thoughts? I m not a sooner but I do drink
Understanding your concern. As per your query persistent pain and dryness of the throat respiratory tract infection. I would suggest you to visit ENT specialist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper diagnosis. You should do warm saline gargles 3 to 4 times a day. Apply mist humidifiers in room. Get blood test done to detect level of infection. Take ibuprofen one tablet twice daily. You should use anti inflammatory pain killers. Throat lozanges one every 4 hours is helpful. Drink luke warm water throughout the day as it can provide relief. Take soft foods to avoid irritation to the throat. You should take steam inhalation.
