What Causes Persistent Nose Bleeds Along With Sinus Cold?
my 16 yr old son has problem with nose bleed.. otherwise healthy. He has a sinus cold. Almost always happens in winter. We have a humidifier in house. Now with his cold,he has trouble getting the bleeding to stop. He applies pressure and uses an ice pack.He took 1 ;100mcg Vitamin k this morning at the onset.It did help till this evening...it started again. It usually isn t just a small amount either.He has a big clot coming out of his nose till its done..

Plz see an ent surgeon and do a rhinoscopy. It could be a bleeding polyp or a capillary that is very fragile. Hope it helps. Take care.
