Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of persistent mild cough despite taking medication which is due to viral pharyngitis or upper respiratory tract infection. Need not to worry it could be mainly due to increased susceptibility of your body to get infected due to poor immunity. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to start vitamin C tablet for 10 days. You should give combination of Ibuprofen and Acetaminophen. You should give steam inhalation along with vaporizer. Keep sipping warm water. Drink hot milk along with pinch of turmeric. Visit ENT specialist/ pulmonologist once and get it examined if symptoms keeps on persisting. You should get blood tests done and get X-ray chest done and start treatment once proper diagnosis is ruled out.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Get Well Soon.

Best Wishes,
