What Causes Persistent Mild Burning In Lower Throat With Dry Mouth?
I ve had a persistent mild burning in my lower throat, along with dry mouth, and lump-in-the throat feeling. It causes a mild feeling of nausea from time to time. I was diagnosed with GERD; however, I am apprehensive about continuing to take my medication since my husband and I are trying to get pregnant. What should I take?

In regard to your query,
As you mentioned you have GERD this could be the reason to have this burning sensation in the throat and dryness of posterior part of mouth 'coz of the gastric juices
Coming to feeling if lump in the throat is also 'coz if the same reason. I would suggest you take non spicy foods, banana. In the nights try taking only bread and milk fir few days definitely you can appreciate the difference.
Consult your gastroenterologist if symptoms persist.

Take tab oflox 200mg BD tab Nimi bd for 3-5 days.
At home take lukewarm saline nad antiseptic mouthwash rinses.
Take multivitamin suplements.
