What Causes Persistent Lump Above The Eyebrow?

I was moving an old TV set, very heavy, and it fell hitting my left forehead above my eyebrow. It swelled to the size of a golf ball immediately. I iced it. This happened a week ago. It became black and blue around both eyes and forehead but seems to be healing. My concern is the hard quarter size bump that remains. It is very hard and does not seem to be getting any smaller. It does not hurt but is disfiguring and on my face. What can I do and what is happening? Why isn t it decreasing in size? It has been a week! And the rest is healing. Thank you for your help. I am worried.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
It seems that there might be having big hematoma producing swelling and black eye.
Nothing to worry, gradually it will be absorbed.
Apply ice pack 2-3 times a day for few days.
Apply thrombophob cream on hematoma site.
It will take 1-2 weeks to absorb.
Ok and take care.
