What Causes Persistent Headache, Chest Discomfort And Joints Pain?

I have had a serious headache for 3 straight days with no relief. I took a Fiorcet and flexoril about 4 hours ago. I still feel the pounding in my head and I have some discomfort in my chest and all of my joints ache. My wife thinks I should go to either an Urgent care or ER but I don t want to sit and wait in a waiting room for 6 hours for a headache. Suggestions?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It would be best to be seen. If you are experiencing what you would call the worse headache you ever had, a review is necessary.

When this term is used, imaging is usually recommended to make sure that there is no structural reason for the headache eg changes in blood vessels or a lesion in the brain

A ct scan may be suggested

I hope this helps
