Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I have currently been attending the gym and going for long walks for the past 3 months. About 2 weeks ago I went for a 4km walk (which I normally do 5 times a week) and the next day my foot started hurting. It hurts about the middle of my foot sort of near my toes. I thought at first that my foot needed to crack as the pain was not so bad. Ever since then my foot hurts quite a bit. I can still walk in it and it seems when I walk on it or go to the gym it hurts less. When I take a deep breath (this part is hard to explain) but my foot hurts like something is stabbing it for a few seconds and it feels pulsing. I am not sure if that is the right way to put it. I thought maybe this would go away but it seems to get worse. I hope this sort of makes sense what I am trying to explain. Thank you.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, such symptoms could be due to lactic acid formation due to walking, with taking deep breath this is not correlated and nothing to do with each other, drink more water, have some rest, hope this information helps, take care.
