General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Noted the history about your son who started with vomiting 4 days ago, fever and swelling of upper lip.
Since you have not mentioned any medicines or investigations it is difficult to predict. Nor you have mentioned his age.
My thoughts as per the little history you have mentioned this looks to be case of some sort of general disease with angioneurotic oedema of upper lip.
Hence I would advise you the following:
- Consul;t immediately a Paediatrician as this may need urgent attention or rush him to ER.
- Give Paracetamol as per the weight.
- Antihistamine if you know the exact dose, then only or wait till Doctor advises so.
- Cold sponging if fever is uncontrollable.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, ENT & General Surgeon
